National Key Account Manager (m/f/d)

Your mission
We are looking for a passionate, entrepreneurial FMCG Key Account Manager (m/f/d), experienced distributing and developing high performance brands, and managing lead customers incl. P&L delivery within desired core markets (DACH). Together with the VP Commercial Development you will build the ​sales department in order to prepare our organization for the upcoming market entry and rapid growth.

You will have overall responsibility for the commercial development of the (multi-) national retail/ foodservice partners:
  • Enforcement and expansion of our listing within all sales formats and stores of (multi-) national retail/ foodservice partners.
  • Conducting annual negotiations, agreements, implementation and organization of secondary placements and national as well as customer-specific sales promotion measures.
  • Maintaining and expanding the network to relevant decision makers in purchasing/category management as well as sales and marketing of the (multi-) national retail/ foodservice partners and managing the interaction of central, regional decision makers as well as their relevant affiliated customers, multi-store owners, house managers and merchandisers as our most important multipliers at the retailer's POS/ foodservice partners
  • Continuous analysis of the sales potential of (multi-)national trade/food partners and development of strategies to systematically tap and expand this potential on the basis of customer development plans

Your profile
  • You have successfully completed your studies or a commercial apprenticeship with corresponding further training
  • Several (5+) years of experience as a regional or national key account of a branded goods company - preferably in the food or beverage category  
  • Extensive knowledge of (multi-) national retail and possibly also foodservice partners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
  • You are able to work in a constantly changing environment
  • You like to work collaboratively and have a hands-on mentality, combined with a strong business acumen
  • Growth mindset: you want to learn and improve every day!
  • Fluency in German and English
